I must say I'm baffled by the good reviews these get. To me they were hard. I think if my feet had weights on them, they might sink in like the picture shows. Apparently, my feet don't weigh enough. But, besides that...they're ugly as sin.
So, then I thought if I spend bukoo bucks, I might get the best slipper ever. Enter UGG. Pink, of course. Verdict: Ugh. I love the softness of them, but when I put my feet in them the strands of softness go in between my toes and make me CRAZY. Then...10 minutes later my feet are sweating bullets. I have to remove these slippers often to just let my feet cool off. Also, pale pink is not a good idea....got quite dirty, even with suede protector.
So, lastly...I have gone back to my tried and true old friend, Haflinger. Love them. These German slippers are made with boiled wool...that keep your feet warm, but not sweaty. AND, biggest bonus is they have arch support! What??? A slipper with arch support?? Yes.
Sorry I cheated on you Haflinger, I just had to make sure there really was nothing better. And, there wasn't.

I love me a good slipper. Thanks for the research. Happy Feet.
$64 for slippers!? I'd rather have a great pair of heels...
Yea, kinda pricey. (You can get them around 50 bucks on other web sites...) But, I wear slippers almost ALL day long. I can wear heels for a couple hours max...maybe once a week to church. It's worth it to me and makes plenty of sense!
Hmmm... I do love a nice pair of slippers.
Now I want to know your findings on good vacuums.
whoa! You like slippers!
ok, I am in dire need of a great vacuum, what have you come up with!?!?
You know what I wear slippers 99% of my day too! I will have to try these out, $50 sounds better.
I totally agree with you on the tempurpedic! What the heck!?! I got those for my mom (she and I both have super flat feet as well) and had them shipped there for Christmas. I was embarrassed. They are rock hard. I will have to try your Haflinger...ew, we're headed to Germany...wonder if they are cheaper over there.
Thanks for the research!
I want to go to Germany! Ya know, Haflinger are not the softest of slippers, but they are my favorite still because the boiled wool makes them not so hot and because of their arch support. I could wear them all day long.
I think I may have to invest in some of these. Really our feet are very important and it makes sense to take care of them, so in my opinion money well spent. Hey what are the vaccums you have liked the best mine is on the frits and I would love to hear what you think are the best!
what is your favorite vacuum...I don't like mine, I need a new one :)
LOVE your review Mariel!
