The Star of the Party

Who here wants way more attention than the birthday boy/girl on their birthday??

I totally do. Stealing attention from little kids rocks. That's why I would go to Parenting's web site and copy one of their sweet cake decorating ideas. You'll be the star of the party, the envy of the neighborhood, the she-iz of cake decorators! You know you want it.

And, while your at it...do the world a favor and throw out any frosting recipe that uses Crisco. It's gross, but people probably haven't told you. But, we're your REAL friends here.

Try this instead:

(My Favorite) Butter Cream Frosting

1 stick butter

4 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

milk to consistency

(food coloring, optional)

Directions: use hand mixer to mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Add milk to desired consistency. Add food coloring for flavor.
