~ Summer Favorites ~ Swimsuits, Flip Flops & Diet Drinks!

Summers almost over, but not quite. Despite the stores being filled with fall/winter clothing and back-to-school mania...it's still hot outside. I'm still thinking about swimsuits, flip flops, and

lemonade. Literally. Let's start at the top:

Swimsuits. So, I was swimming with my sis-in-law, Kylee...let me find a picture, she'll love it...

Anyway, we were swimming and I just happened to notice that her boobs were looking all perky in her swimsuit. I said "why are your boobs looking so good?" and she said....get ready..."Victoria's Secret". What is Victoria's secret, you ask? It's called the Miracle Bra

Swimsuit. I'm almost scared to show you a picture of one because when you see it on a super skinny model with huge fake boobs, it's hard to relate. Ignore that part. I must say...if you do

have huge boobs...this swimsuit might be over-the-top for your everyday swimwear, unless you like that sort of falling-out look. But, for the rest of us it will fit more modestly and is PERFECT

for a lift. It's got a little pad on the underside that pushes those girls right back up to where they

USED to be. And, I say "used to be" because nursing babies can really do a number. Boobs that

hang half way down your stomach...eh, not so good. Okay, so here's a picture...remember JUST look at the swimsuit!

This is the least threatening pic I could find. So, there are lots of different colors, cuts, and styles...but Miracle Bra...that's the kind I'm talking about. And, they're on SALE now! A couple suggestions: get the "long" torso...even if you don't have a long torso...unless you prefer to show belly. Also, these swimsuits are pretty tight around the waist and are fitted based on bra size. I had to go up a bra strap size to a 36 just so the body wouldn't be so, so, skin tight. It's still tight

but now I can breathe and all my loose, saggy, belly skin from having 4 kids doesn't stand out so much! I seriously had to place 5 different orders to get things just right! I also LOVE the swim

skirts and how they fit. Thanks, Kylee! Now my boobs look at least half as good as yours!

Boob support and arch support, two things I love. I just barely got these flip flops and I immediately went and bought another pair. They are the Reef Ginger Sandals, $19.99. Here's why I love them...they have arch support, they're super comfy and they're actually cute! What

a novel idea, a non-athletic shoe with arch support? Crazy. I have flat feet and I love flip flops, a rough combination. After a couple hours on them I have a serious cramp in my foot...so when I slipped these puppies on I was in heaven! I went back online and bought these ones...

These are the Reef D-lish...also with arch support. A little more expensive because they're leather...$34.

While I'm at it, I might as well admit that I got these one's too. No arch support but I was digging the color and the stripes around the edges, Havianas Brazil Flip Flop, $19.99. I was feeling entitled because both of my best flippity flops broke within like a week of each other. So, surely I need more, right? Besides, the hubs just bought new golf clubs...I think I can me get some measly flip flops.

I try to live as closely to the rule "don't drink your calories" as possible. I'll have a cup of real juice now and then but I would much rather consume calories from food! And...I'm not a huge pop drinker because carbonation annoys me. I can sometimes make it through 1/2 a can of diet Coke every few days...if that. But, sometimes I want something to drink besides water or a disgusting diet Coke and I have fell in love with Minute Maid Light Lemonade. No carbonation AND it's actually a tasty diet drink! However, I have NOT loved the other flavors they have...just this one.
