*This post is for Roberta- Thanks!
Ok ladies. I have spent hours going from recipe website to recipe website, scrutinizing, cooking, reading and drooling over all of the recipes! (Im dieting too, so you really better appreciate it!) I never realized there are sooo many great websites for food and recipes out there! Awesome!
Here we go. My first two picks are
Taste Spotting and
Food Gawker. These sites not only have a variety of thousands of recipes, but the pictures are great. Let me illustrate for you....

Im done. But seriously, aren't those pictures amazing?! Definitely check these sites out!
*(for this post I'm only using their great food pics-forgive me)
These next two come from She One.
Copykat and
Top Secret Recipes. These are great for when your honey and you enjoy a quiet night dining out, and whatever you order, you want to go home and make it! They have anything from Olive Garden's dressing, Chili's Salsa to Twinkies and Girl Scout Thin Mints! Oh Baby!
One thing that I love about these next three sites is that they all have
thousands of contributors and you can sort by user review and go by the best ones. That way you pick one a ton of people have already tried and liked.
Epicurious, All Recipes and
Recipe Zaar.
A great website for baking is
The Joy of Baking. Anything and everything you could possibly want to bake is there. They have top recipes each month. For October it's Apple Crisp, Homemade Marshmallows, Pumpkin Pie and Red Velvet Cake.
I've always been a sucker for
The Food Network of course. You can keep tabs on your favorite cooking shows, chefs and products. I'm really excited about their
50 easy soup recipes, starting with basic broths. I'm sure you'll be seeing some!

We can't forget
The Pioneer Woman. Bless her heart. She's paved the way for the rest of us bloggers! She has great step-by-step recipes with wonderful pictures. She also has
The Pioneer Woman's Tasty Kitchen. Anyone can submit recipes to this one and also give reviews.
Just for fun, check out these sites:
Get Cooking, Girls!!

Great list! Thanks! One of my favorite is OurBestBites.com!
Love this post. I love finding recipes online as opposed to buying cookbooks because I can read reviews! There is nothing more disappointing then spending hours making something and it turns out yuck!
Good job!
Love the list! I am always looking for good recipes!
Thanks for doing all that work so that we can enjoy looking at the cool recipe sites!! AWESOME!
Wow! I love the pictures. I will not make a recipe unless it is rated and has a great pic! Thanks for the post!
I have been waiting for this one! yumm. I love recipe Zarr I use that one all the time.
I so enjoy your blog! I truly love it! Thanks so much for sharing. I do have to comment that you are not spelling YOUR correctly. You're is the contraction for you are, as in "you are showering...." Sorry, but this a pet peeve of mine. Maybe youc ould do a pet peeve post (Feel free to include "people who correct me.") or common miss spelled words.
GREAT post! THANKS....
I am a bit confused though on the YOUR comment. So when would YOUR be used?? Are you saying it should read..."great for when you are honey and you enjoy.." instead of YOUR?? That's not right?? And this "You can keep tabs on your favorite cooking shows" should be "You can keep tabs on you are favorite cooking shows"...man I must have missed that day in class??
I always thougth YOUR was the possessive form of YOU..."Is YOUR dog barking?"
YOU'RE is a contraction...
"You're a good blooger" (YOU ARE a good bloger)
Jessica....I think YOU'RE in the right on this one....SORRY!!!
Yea, I'm sure we've made that mistake somewhere...but, I wasn't able to find any in this post either.
Feel free to point out our errors or stand up for us at any time! We love you all!
I love Recipe Zaar and All Recipes. I haven't heard of the others, so I will have to check them out. Thanks!!
I really like this one also...

Thanks!!
Thanks Marie!
So sorry! I made a mistake. (Yes -it's true. I make mistakes, as well.) I posted this commnent to the wrong post.
The your/you are mistkes were repeatedly in the "Sharing a bathroom w/ a man" post. You're correct in your explanation of the correct use in your comments above. But since you asked here are where the mistakes are:
"Your taking a shower..."
"Your showering with your man..."
Shouldn't that be You are or You're? In my opinion, this next one was both correct and incorrect.
"Your (incorrect) doing your (correct) business..."
Again, not trying to be rude. Just tyring to help educate. Many, many people seem to make this mistake.
