Why should YOU send in your idea posts?
Two reasons:

First, being a woman, a wife, and a mother, is not always the easiest thing in the world.  We could all use a little help now and then...maybe some advice, a fun idea, or just the comfort of knowing you're amongst women who want the same thing, a happy and fulfilled family and personal life.  Being featured on "Or so she says..." is a great way to share your talents and knowledge with other women.  Your guest post is categorized on the site forever, for women to search for whenever they are in need.

Second, if you're after some great exposure for your blog...you got it.  Each day, "Or so she says..." posts reach literally thousands of women.  Your post is the only post for the entire day, it's all about you and you're idea.  You don't have to be some blogging-superstar to be featured.  You can just be starting out your blog and have 2 followers.  I don't discriminate.  You just need to have a good idea that works for this blog.

So, with that said...

"Or so she says..." is all about IDEAS FOR WOMEN.

Ideas, such as great tips/tutorials on: parenting, marriage, recipes, craft tutorials, health/fitness, fashion, decorating, beauty, self-improvement, etc. Besides "idea," the other key word is "great." I love a post that makes the readers say, "Hey! That's a great idea!" So, share your best ideas. There are a million-billion topics that can be addressed.  But, don't let the "great" part worry you...send the posts on over.  They might just be what I'm looking for.

Guest Posts can be brand new posts or favorites that you've shared on your blog.

For idea posts published on YOUR blog: Email me the link (or multiple links), an introduction of yourself and a picture. If I can use it, I'll get back to you within a week (give or take). If you don't hear from me, please don't cry. Sometimes a post isn't a good fit or the idea has already been shared on the blog. It's hard to find time to email regrets, but please submit more links in the future. One of the times, it will be the perfect post!

* The biggest reason a recipe post isn't accepted is due to picture quality.  Food photography can make or break a post.  They don't have to be 100% professional, but the pictures should be pretty good. :)  I'm not so picky about pictures on posts that aren't recipes....FYI.  There are lots of great food photography tutorials on the internet.  Check them out!  It will improve your own blog so much and bring new followers, quickly. :)

For posts written specifically for this blog (never published): Email me your idea. I'll let you know if its something that will work, or not...before you get it all ready.

Guest Posts are NOT for advertising.

A guest post is about sharing an idea without blatant business promotion. And, it's free. A guest post is allowed to include a link to your blog/shop/site and a brief intro about it in your personal introduction. Other than that, it needs to be all about your great idea. If you are interested in advertising with "Or so she says..." just email ladies@oneshetwoshe.com for pricing.

So, off you go...email me your great idea post links to guests@oneshetwoshe.com!
